My journal for week 4...

Tue 16 and Thu 18 June, 2009

On Tuesday class, Aj. Gob explains about “Blog Evaluation” for we can apply with our blog. Blog Evolution includes content, language use, design and style. Afterwards, the teacher explains marketing mix (4p) strategy for students understand. Which the marketing mix (4p) strategy includes;

• Product
• Price
• Place
• Promotion

Besides, Aj.Gob has the website that interesting for students see together, it makes students are bored with the learning. Before my class finishes, Aj. Gob orders student work in a group of 3 people. Within each group include one is an interviewer and the other two are applicants. An interviewer asks two applicants about job application. When my friends and I understand, we go to the dormitory of each person for we prepare for presentation on Thursday 18th.

On Thursday class, all students are very excited, because we have to present about interview. The number of our group is 4. Before our group present, I watch other group. I think my friends are expert. When our group present, we can good like other group. So in this class I don’t serious. After class finish, I hurry to have lunch because I’m very hungry.

On Tuesday class, the teacher cancels class, because she is busy. So I don’t study in this class, I happy so much.

On Thursday class, Aj.Gob shows blogs of some student that interesting. I saw their blog have the good design, so I can improve my blog. And then, students work in group of 5 people for brainstorm and share reasons about the product that we choose and can apply the principle of marketing mix (4p) strategy and Maslow’s hierarchical needs concept. Our group choose Nokia brand for discussion because this brand is popular, strong and can use it in a long time. I think this activity makes students enjoy and relax with learning. And then, I still get more knowledge about the principle of marketing mix (4p) strategy and Maslow’s hierarchical needs concept.

Tue 2 and Thu 4 June, 2009

In this week, the teacher explain about course online, makes me understand with the lesson more and more. And then, she tells students about the course requirement and evaluation. When I know I think that it is high score, I must intend to study too much. In class, the teacher tells students about the importance of English language and she has activity for students do together. And in this class, Aj.Gob has the website that interesting for students see together, it makes students are bored with the learning. And last time the teacher assigns homework and gives good idea for project, blog and journal.

On Thursday class, Aj.Gob begins with opening Victoria's Secret video after that she tells students read “what is business?” and “careers in business?” and sum up our understanding. And she tells students that you must have the blog, so the teacher suggests the website and easy ways of the creation. After finish class, I hurry to come back my dormitory, because I want to create my new blog.

My first class!!!

Before, I study in this first class, the first thing I think that this subject is very hard and a lot work. I believe that other friends think same with me. But when I study with Aj. Gob, I don’t serious because Aj. Gob is very kind and she has the way of teaching that fun. In the firs class, the teacher explain about course description, makes me understand with the lesson more and more. My learning in this class has both like and not like. The thing that I don’t like is the teacher assign over abundantly. It makes me lazy to do assignment. I want the teacher helps reduce the assignment because students don’t serious with the assignment. Finally, I believe the teacher can make students happy with learning and give the good grade for me.
